This tool lets you browse your mailbox and view subject, sender, receiver, size, and date of incoming messages prior to downloading them from the server.

Also, you can delete messages directly on server. This can be started automatically with Windows and places an icon in your Taskbar tray that lets you edit properties and perform the check command.

This offers support for multiple accounts and notification about new incoming mail.
