ExtremePad is a text editor with a great number of advanced options as well as basic ones. This program also has an HTML skeleton. This is the basic outline for HTML code, so all you have to do is enter the appropriate information.

Some of these advanced and basic options include:

  • Edit multiple files at once
  • Word count by one or five words
  • Word wrap
  • Web-ready code
  • Stays minimized
  • Time and date inserts

Also, if you plan on leaving your computer, you can lock the program.
