| This tool consists of three integrated components: F-Secure SSH Terminal to provides secure login connections over unknown or un-trusted networks, F-Secure SSH Tunnel to enable secure tunneling of Internet protocol services, and F-Secure SSH file transfer to provide secure file transfers over insecure networks.
This provides secure terminal connections, replacing insecure rlogin and Telnet protocols. It has secure file transfer using SFTP or SCP, replacing the insecure FTP protocol. There is secure tunneling of TCP/IP protocols enabling secure Internet connections (e-mail, data base access).
Note: Applications that allow the end-user to encrypt their own data must meet the U.S. Bureau of Export Administration (BXA) requirements as described at http://www.bxa.doc.gov/Encryption/Default.htm.
