You can:

• Stop spam
• Block e-mail viruses
• Prevent relay abuse
• Filter outbound mail

But that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can check for invalid messages by forged date header detection. Ban mail by using any combination of HELO text, mail from text, RCPT TO text, subject line, who it is from, TCP/IP address of connecting host or domain names.

Reject messages that exceed size in terms of bytes, lines of text and number of RCPT TO recipients. You can also back up rejected mail to another server or another e-mail account.

Tarpit incoming mail by domain name and TCP/IP address. Reload new settings by detecting configuration changes automatically.
