This tool is intended for the intermediate to advanced IRC user.

Previous users of ViRC '97 will recognize the classic interface and enhanced Versus scripting language, but the redesigned server manager, central DCC list, and combined script editor have been added.

Scripts can be written in ViRC's own language or any ActiveX scripting language, including VBScript and JavaScript. Almost every aspect of ViRC's interface and behavior can be controlled.
