Along with literally telling the time, this also lets you customize your taskbar's clock. You can change its look by using a variety of colors, textures, and fonts. You can even have it display both the date and the time in any way you want.

You can also set multiple reminders, each of which can display a message, play a sound, or run a program. Reminders can be scheduled once, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or at Windows startup. You can also use an advanced schedule for some reminders to specify the starting and ending dates of a repeating appointment.

This also lets you synchronize your computer's clock with an atomic time server either manually or on an automatic schedule.
